For Zoom Torino's Hippopotamus area, AFRICA STYLE created a new outdoor roof to enhance the existing amphitheater, consisting of steps used as an educational space during guided tours. The structure combines exterior galvanized iron carpentry and Eucalyptus timber, ensuring weather resistance, durability and aesthetic consistency with the park's natural setting. Eucalyptus wood has also been used to cover the technical rooms and thematize the edges of the hippopotamus tank, transforming functional elements into scenic details that enrich the immersive experience for visitors. The intervention thus allows the creation of a welcoming, safe and educationally accessible environment, where children and families can observe hippos and learn about their habitat interactively. This project reflects AFRICA STYLE's approach to creating themed outdoor facilities for bioparks and theme parks, where natural materials, bespoke design, and attention to detail combine to create functional, scenic and immersive spaces.
