For the Prairie Dogs area of Punta Verde Zoo Park, AFRICA STYLE has created a large pergola for shade, designed to blend harmoniously with the surrounding environment and improve the comfort of animals and visitors. The structure starts close to the hemispherical aviary and extends cantilevered inside the prairie dog enclosure, following the natural course of the surrounding elements. Entirely made of South African Eucalyptus timber, the pergola combines solidity and outdoor resistance with a strong aesthetic impact, while the roll-like covering ensures large areas of shade, weatherproof and material continuity with the surrounding context. Thanks to its customized design, the pergola is not only a functional element, but also a tool for enhancing the habitat, creating a scenic reference point and improving the usability of the area for visitors. This intervention confirms AFRICA STYLE's approach to creating themed outdoor structures, where design, natural materials and imposing dimensions combine to create immersive, harmonious and durable spaces.
