The Magic Pond project created by Africa Style for the MagicLand theme park in Valmontone (Rome) saw the complete renovation of the area near the carousel, transforming it into a scenic space that enriches the visitor experience within one of the park's most iconic family attractions. The Magic Pond is indeed an immersive jungle-style attraction where visitors can enjoy floating on giant water lilies that look like real boats, part of the thematic offer of the “Tonga – jungle” area of the park. Africa Style's project primarily involved the construction of the new roof, installed on a pre-existing metal structure and adjusted on site, designed to integrate perfectly into the context of the tropical jungle. For the roofing, the “double-tile” system was chosen: authentic Cape Reed tiles, characterized by a small pitch that allows reaching up to 98% water-resistance without the use of intermediate plastic films, thus preserving the durability and natural appearance of the material. The perimeter huts and customized fencing in South African Eucalyptus complete the area, creating a homogeneous environment, where each element enhances the landscape and promotes visual continuity with the vegetation and the attraction itself. The craftsmanship and natural wood finishings contribute to a strong scenographic setting, perfectly integrated into the thematic story of MagicLand. The result is a scenically studied, functional and durable area, where natural materials, customized design and quality technical solutions combine to offer a pleasant and immersive experience to visitors, reinforcing the visual identity of the Magic Pond within the park.
