For the Tonga Soa Centre project within the Zoom Torino park, AFRICA STYLE intervened with a major requalification of the roof, helping to strengthen the thematic identity of the area and improve the performance of the structure. The intervention included the complete renovation of the roof, with a solution designed to combine aesthetic performance and durability in a high-exposure outdoor context. Cape Reed panels were used in the internal parts, chosen for their natural look that recreates an authentic atmosphere coherent with the African setting of the park. In the external part, the covering was made by the AfriThatch system, an advanced synthetic solution that faithfully reproduces the effect of the traditional thatched roof, while ensuring high weather resistance and a longer lifespan, reducing the need of maintenance. The intervention fits perfectly into the context of the Tonga Soa Centre, helping to enhance the immersive experience of visitors through the use of materials and finishes in line with the thematic concept. A project that confirms AFRICA STYLE's ability to intervene on existing structures with technical and material solutions capable of combining aesthetics, functionality and performance over time.
