The Red Panda Area, designed and built by Africa Style at Parco Natura Viva, represents an example of immersive design that transports visitors into the world of the red panda, keeping all construction and scenographic choices compatible with the animals. The project combines storytelling, natural materials and safe technical solutions, with routes designed to enhance the visitor experience without interfering with animal welfare. Central to the area is the Red Panda Scenic Bridge, inaugurated by Janno Weerman –European Coordinator for Species Management within the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria–, which represented a significant moment for the international scientific community. The structure allows for a privileged vantage point, harmoniously integrating into the setting and respecting the ethological needs of the species. Africa Style took care of the scenographic theming with attention to details: the bridge parapets are the result of Africa Style certified carpentry, designed to be safe and long-lasting, with details designed to integrate harmoniously into the environment; The central hut, inspired by the red panda's hometown, is hand-decorated, with recesses and finishes that enhance the craftsmanship and authenticity of the setting. Each choice of materials and finishes was designed to ensure durability, safety, and scenic consistency, creating an immersive habitat that allows biologists and zoo teams to operate safely, while visitors enjoy an educational and immersive experience, symbolically entering the red panda's natural habitat. https://youtu.be/nSrR6VucogY?si=XbxHDQcdswPNa7Qg
